As soon as you arrive at Residencehotel Ambiez, you immediately feel welcome: thoughtful little details and great amenities ensure your stay starts off on the right foot. A reserved garage parking space, bar, restaurant, pool, and spa right inside the property, plus ski slopes and lifts just outside your window: 0 stress, 100% relaxation.
For our first evening, I arranged a wonderful surprise for Lucia and myself thanks to Ambiez’s minishop offerings: sunset Aperi-Fire. Sipping a drink by the fire while a breathtaking pink sky paints the Dolomites is truly a unique experience.
But the real magic starts after dinner with the Private Pool Night: the indoor pool fully reserved just for the two of us from 9:30 PM until midnight. Swaying on the hanging chair, with the stars and snow outside, it’s a moment of pure, unforgettable relaxation.
We booked our breakfast and dinner package online along with our apartment and treat ourselves to a rich buffet breakfast at Ristorante Lares. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with the snow outside the windows making everything feel extra special. We didn’t come specifically to ski, but we couldn’t resist going up high: following the front desk’s advice, we take the Fortini cable car up and have lunch right on the slopes at Rifugio Viviani, taking in the stunning views of the Brenta Dolomites.
Back at the hotel, Lucia enjoys the massage I booked for her — she comes out beaming and completely relaxed! — before we wrap up the afternoon with a hourly session in the Ambiez SPA (to be booked in advance).
Tonight we opt for total relaxation in our room: we take advantage of Ristorante Lares’ takeaway service, pick up our freshly prepared dishes at 6:30 PM, and enjoy a delicious dinner in our loungewear. Anyone looking for a touch of nightlife can easily pop into the center of Campiglio for an after-dinner cocktail, but tonight we choose the cozy intimacy of our apartment!
This morning we check out of the apartment and move our car out of the garage, but our getaway isn’t over just yet! We stay to relax by the pool with a good book and our favorite music in our headphones. I swim a few laps to burn off all the delicious treats from the past few days and enjoy the peaceful quiet: everyone is out on the slopes, so the pool is practically all ours!
For lunch, we stop by the Ambiez bar: Lucia picks a delicious, freshly made salad, while I treat myself to a toasted sandwich and a local craft beer.
In the early afternoon, we say goodbye to the residence and set off: leaving a bit ahead of the ski slopes closing time lets us avoid all the traffic down the valley! What an amazing getaway: I truly won her heart over with this place!
