Challenge the Dolomites on two wheels
Every summer, thousands of cyclists from all over the world gather here for two well-known competitions. Hero Dolomites is a true marathon for the most experienced athletes. Sellaronda Bike Day, on the other hand, sees roads closed to traffic so that bikers can roam free.
Sellaronda Bike Day
Once a year, mountain passes are closed to traffic and 20,000 cyclists from around the world take over the roads. Just remember to always ride clockwise!
Hero Dolomites
It may be the world's toughest MTB marathon, but it certainly is one of the most extraordinary, with a 60 km-course around the Sella massif and a vertical drop of 4,500 m.
Bring your mountain bike everywhere
In Val Gardena you can carry your bike on cables cars. Weekly guided tours are also available.
Parks for all tastes and skill levels
The Ciampinoi Bike Park is more than 3 km long, but there are also family-friendly facilities, including at Dantercepies or Piz Seteur, not to mention the easy Skillpark Palmer in Ortisei, where you can learn basic techniques.
